About Ross Public School
Ross Public School is a school with deep history, character, and pride. On January 5, 2026, the Ross community proudly celebrated its 99th anniversary, marking nearly a century of excellence in education. As we look ahead with excitement to our 100th anniversary celebrations in the 2026–27 school year, our commitment to strong academics, positive relationships, and student well-being remains at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Ross Public School is a vibrant Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in Welland, serving approximately 320 students. We are proud of our rich diversity and the meaningful, relevant learning opportunities our staff provide each day. Raider Pride continues to shine through the achievements, growth, and character of our students—both inside and outside the classroom.
Ross Public School also shares its space with A Child’s World for full-day childcare, strengthening our connection to families and supporting early learning within our community. As part of the District School Board of Niagara, Ross remains dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
